A bit about John Spence, Photographer....

Taking over the world, one photograph at a time...

Born in the UK near Luton in March 1973, John has always had a fascination with creating images. Whether doodling in school books, taking snapsots with his first compact camera, or running a large location fashion shoot.

Geek turned artist...

Originally following a career in computing, gaining a degree in Computer Science from Royal Holloway, University of London, and sucessfully managing high profile projects including working with the Houses of Parliement, Microsoft and many others.

Although he was a success, the IT world was simply not creative enough to keep John's attention, so he took the leap to follow his dream and unleash his photographic vision on the world. From that day he has not looked back.

Now based both in London and in Reading, John takes commissions ranging from celebrity portaits, to exclusive gigs, to studio and location fashion shoots. Everything from catalogue work to editorial spreads. One thing is consistent through all of his work... His commitment and passion for image.

Photography is more than a passion to John, it is in his blood.
